Everyone is fallible, we all make mistakes, and we all need to held accountable for our actions. However, in order to grow and become better versions of ourselves we need space within our communities to learn the lessons we need from each other from sharing our life experiences. I wrote this essay about my own personal experience, with the intention that it could be be relatable to anyone who has had to go on their own journey of becoming that better version of themselves. Let’s be honest, we all have, and perhaps the greatest mistake we can make is to believe we have nothing left to learn.
