INSTRUCTION SHEET
First, thank you so much for purchasing this digital file. A lot of hard work went into making them, and these steps will help you make the most out of them. I suggest listening to Timber Timbre’s self titled album while you follow these steps.
STEP 1
You will want to print this file in as high of resolution as you can. Keep that in mind when you send it to your desktop printer, or when you are asking your copy shop to print them. You will want to print them on a nice thick card stock so they will hold up when you use them. Glossy or matte, thats totally you’re decision, however I am always a fan of a nice matte finish myself.
STEP 2
Now that you have them printed off, CUT THEM OUT. If you have a cutting board and sharp knife, that will be your best option for a nice clean finished product. If you only have scissors that no problem, and the most authentic old school way to do this. Start by cutting around the outside of the mask. Once that is done, carefully poke holes in the centre of the eyes so you can get your scissors in there to cut the eyes out. Laughing maniacally while you cut them out, will only add to the fun.
STEP 3
Ok, now you have a mask, but how are you going to hold it to your face. You have a couple of options. You could glue a popsicle stick to it. You could glue it to your face with super glue (please don’t do this, but if you do, send me a picture or it didn’t happen). The classic way though is to use a string. A mask life hack is to use stretchy string, which you can find at any dollar or craft store. To attach your string you can poke holes close to the end but not so close to the edge that the string will rip through when you tie the ends to it. Placing these holes at about eye level will be most effective. If you don’t want to put holes in your mask, you can also use a strong tape to attach the ends of your string to the back side of the mask.
STEP 4
Now go take your pillowcase off your pillow. Put your mask on. Grab your friends and hit the streets to TRICK’R’TREAT your way to glory. Fill that pillowcase to the top. DON’T STOP GET IT GET IT!
STEP 5
As you sit atop your sugar mountain, consider sharing some of it with your buddies who couldn’t stay out as long as you, or couldn’t make it up all those steps. Sharing is caring. Again, also please tag @HANDCUTCOMPANY in all your social media posts
